Why we built it
Caresoft has spent two decades inside hospitals. The inpatient side got attention first, because that is where the money and the accreditation pressure sit. But the outpatient department is where most patients actually meet the health system, and it was still running on case papers and prescription pads.
Digital OPD is that gap, closed. Not a hospital system with the ward modules hidden, but software written for a clinic's pace — where the doctor has four minutes, the receptionist is on the phone, and nobody has time to be trained twice.
What we believe about clinic software
- The doctor's time is the constraint. If a screen adds thirty seconds to a consultation, it will be abandoned, no matter how good the reports are.
- Paper leaves in order. Front desk first, then prescription, then billing. Clinics that try to switch everything on one morning switch it all off by lunch.
- Your data is yours. Export it whenever you want, in a format you can read.

Caresoft Systems Private Limited has been building healthcare IT since 2004, bootstrapped, with a hospital information system deployed across more than 1,000 facilities in India and Africa. The company holds CMMI Maturity Level 5, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certifications.
